Food and community meals

Prasad, a bhandara, and a shared meal: care for both sanctity and the stomach.

When After a puja, at a shraddha, or on a community day.
Region Community and family

A meal can be the last part of a ceremony or a gathering of its own. Prasad and a feast are not the same. The food of a shraddha and the feast of a wedding are not one custom. Write first which sanskar or festival the meal belongs to, how many people will come, and what your family does not serve.

Pratishthaan does not run the kitchen. We say this much: the queue, the water, and cleanliness are also part of hospitality, and no one should be pressed to a plate against their own observance. In the request, write the city, the number, and the occasion of the meal.

This is a general introduction. Sequence, materials, and timing change with family, region, and shakha. Your priest and your own custom have the last word.
